  • I worked at the Pentagon from 1991 to 1996. During that time I held positions working directly for the Secretary of the Air Force and the Secretary of Defense.
  • During my time in Washington D.C. I met and shook hands with President George H.W. Bush, President Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Vice President Gore and Colin Powell.
  • In 1998 I won a Mazda Millennium Luxury Sedan in a “Hands On” Stamina Contest during the Washington D.C. Auto Show.
  • In 2005 at the age 0f 34 I ran my first marathon and cried for the last mile
  • in 2007, after reading “Way of the Peaceful Warrior” I successfully fasted for 5 days. On the fifth day I pooped my pants.
  • In 2008 I learned my six-word memoir, “Lazy Programmer, Ugly Runner, Nascar Dad” was published in a book titled “Not Quite What I Was Planning”.
