Top Ten Things I Liked About Working at United Health Group

Tomorrow is my last day at United Health Group. I thought it would be appropriate for me to write a little diddy on the things I enjoyed about working there.
10. I learned a great deal about the health insurance industry.
9. The pay was pretty good.
8. This was my first introduction to TeamTrack and other Serena Inc. tools.
7. I got a great deal of experience in evaluating different development tools.
6. I learned a fair amount about Anthill Pro, IBM Websphere, and Mercury ITG.
5. I learned a great deal more about Ant.
4. This was my first real introduction to working with Java2 Enterprise Edition.
3. I learned the ins and outs of Subversion.
2. The company was progressive in allowing it’s employees to telecommute.
1. I met allot of great people that I want to stay in contact with.

United Health Group is a horrible company to work for. I worked with them for 3 years. I didn’t enjoy it at all I just needed the money at the time.
Sebastin, I’m totally down with you on this one. Though I didn’t work with them for 3 years, in fact, I worked only 1 year, but I also didn’t enjoy working there at all.
Seriously though, why did you leave, if you liked your job? Did you get fired or what?
I will not leave if I were at your place

Okay not to sound stupid or anything but, who on earth is UHC and what good or bad have they done? I am not sure what that is. I would like to know though I am all for learning something new. I just happened upon this blog but, would love to learn more about what you’re talking about. Thanks for any info you can give me on this.

UHG is a terrible company. If you just google their group on google for reviews, you’ll find a whole lot of negative experiences with them.

When I started reading the list I was thinking WOW this guy is not bitter at all. Then I got to the bottom part where I saw you would post things you didn’t like either! LOL.
